Hi everyone,
i have an external box (http://eshop.macsales.com/item/OWC/MAU3ENPRPCI/) with an Apple Flash SSD (the one for the Macbook Pro Retina. At work it was supposed to be used for Time Machine backups but it's a total waste of those 768 Gb.
I'm thinking to use it into my Mac Pro 5,1 at home, where I have a 128 Gb OCZ as primary disk and, as you can imagine, need frequent clean-up for its size.
I thought there should be some PCI adapter for that but, the flash not having a "standard" connector, I can't find a precise one to buy. Any better recommendations?
Or...with your knowledge...is the PCI card a useless trick, in terms of speed, and is it better to find a 2,5" SATA box?
Thanks for your answers
