Flash Storage

I've been considering of getting as my next laptop a macbook air. Now they have flash storage and what I was wondering is the following: Is there a possibility that if the battery is completely used and there is no power, you will loose the information on your computer?

Sure if the SSD fails but it can fail at anytime. It's not like RAM which is reseted everytime you reboot, so no, even if you ran out of battery, you won't lose your data. You should still backup though

No, not at all. Nothing to worry about there.

No issue. The flash memory is non-volatile memory, meaning it keeps what's in it when it loses power. RAM, on the other hand, is volatile memory, which loses the information in it when there is no power. I'm over-simplifying a little, but they are different things. You'll be fine - even in a hard boot.
