Has anyone else noticed this? When I visit YouTube and start watching a few videos, the fans REALLY crank up on my MBP. What's the deal? Is Flash really that processor intensive? Is it because Flash doesn't have a UB yet? Or does it? How can I tell? Hmmm....

Just curious.

Flash is terrible on OS X.
I'm beginning to see that. :)

I tell ya', it's the first thing that has really got my MBP all worked up (i.e. fans full bore). It honestly concerned me at first since all I was doing was browsing the web. Then it dawned on me that I had heard/read somewhere that Flash could cause this.

Very strange. Is there any hope for the situation changing? It really is kind of rediculous that something as simple as watching a video on the web get's the fans going like that. Crazy I tell ya'...

Don't be concerned. Flash just loves to eat up your CPU and stall on OS X. It happens in any browser that I use.

just watched 4 videos on youtube using safari and my fans went up once to 2300rpm only.
