I have a flashed iphone to work on tmobile, it is also jailbroken and I want to update it but what would happen if I updated it? More importantly I want know if it would still be flashed?

Ok so by "flashed" i can only guess that you mean "unlocked". Since you didn't mentioned what phone you got or what firmware you are running or what country you are on it is hard to give you a straight answer.

However chances are that if you update you will lose your unlocked ("your flashed") and it won't be useful on T-Mobiles network.

Depending on the version of the phone you got and what iOS version + Baseband version you got, you "may" have some options to update, the most common one will be using pwnage tool to create a custom firmware that will persever your baseband and them run unltrasn0w to unlock your phone and start using it on T-mobile. Again it all depend on your case (on what phone, iOS and BB version you are running).

PS: and please stop calling it "flashed" it make me feel part of the NES hacking team and way too old.
