Fledging Feather M13 NVMe SSD on an iMac?

I wonder why nobody is talking about this 3rd Party NVMe SSD upgrade solution for iMacs. I believe they've been around for a while now. Just wanted to know if anyone here has tried upgrading their iMac to this NVMe SSD and how's it so far?

It isn’t any different than any NVMe SSD+good adapter.. so save your money and go for the later option (or an original apple ssd)

I'm interested to hear any experiences / reviews of the Fledging Feather m.2 SATA SSD, considering one as an upgrade for a MacBook Air 2012. $200 for 1TB on eBay seems like the most affordable Apple-compatible SATA SSD on the market. I've heard those adapters can be flaky, and can you properly bolt down the SSD blade if the adapter is changing the overall length?

NVMe SSD via TB3. No need to open the iMac and void any warranty or AppleCare agreements. When purchasing an iMac get the hottest CPU and GPU you can afford. Stick with 8GB of memory (to which you add 16GB/32GB) and then add NVM3 boot SSD via TB3. You can also make a RAID 0 of SSDs via TB3. All the SSDs can move to your next iMac. Naturally have Time Machine backups on at least one HD.
