I am trying to install Microsoft Flight Simulator X and Expansion pack on my Parallels but when I try to run setup.exe it keeps giving me the error message: "Error reading setup initialization file" Any answers?

I am having exactly the same issue - running 1 year old top of the line iMac with Parallels - I am wondering if it is a disk issue or? I thought perhaps Windows 7 was not compatible with the game, but my research says I am incorrect there also. Anyone? Bueller, Bueller?

Fix: Create iso

I had this same issue and solved it by installing PowerIso, copying all of the files from the virtual disk in to Poweriso and exporting it as an iso. I then mounted the new iso with power iso and it worked :)

MFS X is very demanding on the hardware...
I'm not sure running it in Parallels will be a good idea.

Cannot Boot Camp?
