So I've often been fascinated by aircraft that fly overhead and wonder where they are destined. I've used flight radar up till now which worked fine on both my previous android and now my iPhone. I've decided to try an alternative app which is called plane finder. Both apps are equally as good but I noticed I was getting rather intrusive video ads and not just banner ads.
I realise there are options to go ad free but I wouldn't say I'd make full use out of the app to warrant £10 per year every year.
I'm not against the subscription model these apps take, I in fact have a few subscriptions for various apps already. Just wondered what plane tracker apps people use these days and what method those apps use to go ad free. My main interest is removing ads, I'm not too worried about flight histories of planes and such. It's interesting just seeing where it's flown from and where it's headed to
