What did it do? I downloaded it and dont see any obvious changes.. Just curious as to what they are.

Hi Lindsay,
I posted this in another thread:

I don't think Apple's updated the info on iTunes yet. Take a look at the settings pane--we put the version number at the bottom (it should read 1.0.1). Here are the release notes that will be up soon:

This version improves playback performance and fixes an autosave bug, as well as other minor bugs.

There's also a new note in the app description--a little present for the next time you upload a movie to flipbook.tv:

For a limited time only, upload a movie to flipbook.tv, and you'll receive a coupon for 25% off a Pogo Stylus!

i saw that post.. thanks. I tried to close this thread because you posted right after i did.. but it hasnt been closed for whatever reason..

Have to say, i ordered my stylus and im PSYCHED to get it! i got a fun new animation i'm working on now.

My issue with this app is that it has literally slowed my productivity to a HAULT - instead of using free time to get stuff done, i am doodling on my phone. VERY ADDICTIVE!

I have the same problem! Can something be done about this? Perhaps include a time-stopping mechanism into the next update? :D

Wow, my pogo stick already is in Hartford, CT!! thats FAST shipping!!

Let us know how that Pogo stylus is when you get it! I'm very curious about it. I'm sure it works fine -- but I'm actually more concerned about how easy (or not) is it to move around. Not sure I'd want it on a clip on my phone, and don't think I'd have it loose in my pocket either. I might just keep it in whatever place I tend to doodle the most (which seems to be work -- just don't tell my boss). :D

well, luckily i have a pocketbook that stores all sorts of neat things :)

I got one for my hubby too, and he will probably keep his home, near the TV.

I am interested in seeing how it works.. the only thing that i can think of being a pain is zooming and moving the screen.. You need two fingers for that..

yea all the luck.. because being able to fashioably carry a pocketbook is WELL worth the month anguish, the primping and preening, and all the other FUN stuff that comes with being a woman.

Anyways! I FREAKING LOVE THIS APP!!

and the shipping on the stylus was basically FREE witht the coupon code from flipbook.tv

The best money i have ever spent.. call me a flipbook fangirl :)

I've had one for a while, and what I find is that I just slide it to the back of my hand and gesture with my fingers (it's hard to describe--pick up a short pen and imagine pinching while holding it).

One piece of advice I can give you is that if you're trying to get really accurate lines, because the tip is wider than the thin brush sizes, zoom in to draw. Once you make the initial stroke, it's easy to be accurate.

Make sure to send your feedback and thanks to the good people at TenOne who have provided the discount code, too!

I definitely will be giving feedback on the stylus, and have already bowed at the feet of the creators of this app..

I have been using it A LOT lately, and have been coming up with more ideas for updates though :)

Not that its a bad app, but because i am SOOO used to using illustrator, there are things i miss from it.. like being able to move the last thing i drew to another layer, but since you can not select individual lines, that is IMPOSSIBLE..

I would also LOVE a way to remember stroke sizes.. so everytime I re-draw the same thing, the outline size is always the same. THAT would be awesome.

Again, adding text would be great too.. AND SOUND!!

Just noticed another update (1.0.2) -- but no info (yet) on the app store. Any word on what's new? :D

The main thing you'll notice is that under the image picker, there's a new "Pick More" button. After you pick an image, if you select Pick More, FlipBook will add a new frame and put the image you pick onto that frame, making it easy to create stop-motion movies. There were some minor other changes, too.
