Hi
This is my first post on this forum.
Apologies if this thread is duplicated.

I have 16GB ipad mini 2 retina flooded by water.
Screen is not working.
I can sync ipad with iTunes without any errors. I can unlock iPad "blind" i can hear unlock sound so digitizer is working. Yesterday I bought new LCD and now it's replaced but new screen does not show anything.
Should I hard reset ipad ?
What should I check next ?

Today I will clean ipad with isopropyl alcohol.

Best Regards

When you " flood " an ipad, much more can go wrong than just the screen not working. Their is a controller that actually displays the content to the screen. If that's shot, you'l never get an image again, unless of course you're really amazing with a soddering gun! Chances are if this new screen didn't do anything, then it's likely 1 of two things.

1. Is their a LIGHT coming from the screen ? Check the connector again, and make sure it's properly connected.
2. The processor for imaging is shot, the logic board needs a good replacing, which at that point, buy a new mini.

Thank you for your help

Yesterday hard reset of ipad helped and Apple logo appeared. :)
All is working without any problems.

Best Regards
