I have a iMAC 5K and a new PC, both with AMD GPU.

Recently, I learned something new about playing video with interpolation to make video 24p -> 60p, which can make movie less judders.

For example:

"Fluid motion" was a function provided from AMD and can be activated by some player.

I recalled my GPU in iMAC 5K was also AMD (R9 M395X), so I wonder is there any similar interpolation function/player for macOS?

Personally I do not like video interpolation, not only does it give the "soap opera effect" but it adds some artifacts on sharp edges that are moving across the screen although that shouldn't be too noticeable at 60hz vs 120/240hz. Can make some people motion sick but again probably not too bad at 60hz.
