Ok a forum i go on has undergone changes and I can't seem to access it now. I'm an admin there, I spoke to the owner of it and he said i need to "flush dns". I have never had to do this and don't really understand it. I follow the instructions I found on a site but had no success still... Can someone help me with understanding it and getting it done so that I can access my forum again???

Flush DNS on Leopard (assuming you're using Leopard).

Depending on how long ago the changes were made this may not help, DNS can take 24-48hrs to replicate globally, your ISP might just be late in getting the updates.

The changes where made earlier this week. I did the "flush" and went to the safari menu and "reset safari". still no success. Are you saying that it might take 24-48 hrs before i can access it?? that is fine. I just need to be able to get back on soon since I'm an admin. :D
