iPod .FLV Vids To Ipod (how?)

Ok, so I have done research on this and I see a lot of people say that you need to change the FLV files by downloading a converter.

The problem?

I don't trust these sources.

So my Mac friends that I do trust, what is the best way to get these .flv vids onto Itunes so that I can get them to my Ipod?
