If you’re not familiar with focos it’s an app that lets you edit the depth data within portrait mode pics traditionally taken with dual lens iPhones or recently the single lens iPhone XR...until now.

I’ve always wondered why Apple never enabled single lens portrait mode for dual lens iPhones so “we” can take wide angle portrait mode pics. Focos 2.0 fixes that.

You can now take older, non portrait mode, pics and get iPhone XR level portrait mode pics.

I’ve already considered focos to be one of if not the best camera app I’ve ever installed onto my iPhone but now it truly is.

it’s not perfect and it’s not magical with every pic but definitely produces enough of a portrait mode effect for single lens iPhones to be worth the purchase imo.

attached is a pic taken a few years ago in a non portrait mode setting and now it has depth data.
