Focus Filters - Allow email to "break through"?

Here's one I can't seem to figure out with Focus Filters. Feels like I've found a blind spot.

I have 2 email accounts set up on my Phone. Work and Personal.

My "Work" Focus filter has the personal account filtered out so I only see Work emails in "All Inboxes" email view.

However I have recently discovered that I need to have emails from a particular person contact (Kiddo's school) to be allowed through.
I have set them up as an account and have them set to "Allow Notifications" but that only works for message and calls as far as i can see.

Any options (other than giving the school my work email or not using Focus Filters)?

Alternatively you could set up a forward so those mails get forwarded to your work mail.
