So focus modes seem really awesome, but one thing has been annoying me so far - is there no way to just allow anyone in my contacts to give a notification? For phone calls it is really easy to use groups/all contacts/anyone…but for whatever reason you have to hand pick contacts for messages? Am I missing a setting somewhere to just “allow all?”

Thanks for sharing. I did not realize selecting Phone and Messages meant ALL calls and texts. Good to know.

Ah, thanks for this tips - I didn't even think of just fully allowing the apps themselves.

Thanks for the ideas! Do we know if there is a way to say allow every person or app EXCEPT a few? I want to do a personal focus where work emails and messages can't reach me. My coworkers are very persistent haha.

I have my work emails on a different app, so that is solved.

My coworkers are not as persistent, but if they were, it seems like putting everyone else into a “personal” group would solve the need. I have a lot of contacts, but not that many who actually contact me, so I would probably just go through and add them each to allowed.

This does not work, I've allowed messages and added no contacts, and incoming text messages or messages don't give any notification (doesn't vibrate or give audible notification), the notification comes up on my lock screen completely silent
