Anyone else? Not even touching how people feel about it...

Having had to help some family members after updating to 15 and/or getting new iPhones, the current implementation and onboarding feels quite unlike typical Apple software in that it's a bit overly complicated.

It indeed is an advanced feature not suitable for everyone but a great feature nonetheless.

I wish focus had a setting to allow text notifications and calls to show on Lock Screen or notification center but still block them without letting them through. Seems you can only block them completely or let them through as regular text and calls. On DND, they would silence everything but the notifications would show in notification center..

Ooh, look. Another feature I didn't ask for or need. I'm sure there are people out there with busy, busy lives and who are incapable of somehow sorting out the various aspects of it and at the appropriate times (rather than relying on their own normal judgment - sees also 'self-driving' cars...), but this just feels like another 'Squirrel!' moment from Apple to me, and could have been an app available for download instead - and not baked into the OS and impossible to remove in, say, the Control Panel.

As a nerd I love it, but I agree that presenting everyone with a hard to decipher decision tree as soon as they install iOS15 is a bit much.
