iPhone Folder Appearance Conundrum (would be grateful for any advice)

I'm on JB iPhone 6 plus 8.4 and all I want is a tweak that will allow me to have the folder view on my springboard display one large icon within each folder rather than the mini grid of all the icons contained in the folder.

In other words I folders to look the way I used to have them which achieved using TINYGRID which is no longer compatible with 8.4 (see below):

I tried using FOLDER ENHANCER, which actually worked for about a week but now it appears that there is some conflict with Springtomize, according to the dev and one day the folders just went back to showing the mini-grid.

Does anyone know any other tweak or any other way that I could possibly achieve the above look with my folders?

I don't mind buying any other tweaks I just don't know what to try...

More Icons?

It has a setting for number of icons in a folder row and column. I imagine you could just set that to 1 and 1. No idea if that will work or not, just throwing that tweak out there.
