Is there a way to install either one of these tweaks and keep the current folder layout ? The only reason I ask is I have over three hundred apps all organized into folders and when I currently install it take everything out of folders and throws them all over the spring board

I've installed both, and both have kept my folders as is. I recommend FolderEnhancer over infinifolders, btw... that with a side of MultiIconMover is pretty great. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vus8X4s2h_o

have you ever had either one of these in the past. I have JB a few times over the last year and a half and for some reason ended up going back to stock (not always by my choice). When i re-JB and reinstal folder enhancer it will remember my layout from the last time i was JB and try to go back to that, this is when i get the "icons" everywhere kind of problem.

Ah ok, I see what you mean. And yes, I did have Infinifolders before, went back to stock, and then back again... but I don't remember if it did anything. I had so few apps at the time I don't think I would have noticed it if it did.

However, using MultiIconMover makes the task of re-organizing all your apps back into the right folders a breeze ;)

I took the plunge of redoing all the apps with folder enhancer and multiconmover

It didnt maintain stock folders and became a jumbled mess but all is well thanks
