After I updated to 10.11.2 I noticed that folders now stay scrolled to where you last left them. On 10.11.1 you could scroll to the bottom of the applications folder (for example) and when you re-opened it the folder would be back at the top. I really want this "feature" back. Is there a way to manually re-enable it through terminal perhaps so all folders open scrolled all the way to the top?

That apparently was a bug introduced in El Capitan, which now has been addressed and now back to the default behaviour where it stays at the position where you last left it.

I take it no one knows a hidden setting or terminal command to make it happen by default again?

Thankfully. :)
