Folder size at bottom of each window?

I just migrated to 10.8 from 10.6 and I've noticed that the little bar at the bottom of each window that showed the current folder size and number of items is gone. I like when I open my Mac HD folder and it shows how much space I have available. Is there a way to change this back?

Should be Finder -> View -> Show Status Bar
