Hi,

Two questions about folders:

(1) Yosemite folder options allow you to separate the folder into discrete sections based on file type, but it's putting my .wmv and .mkv and .divx files in either "documents" or "other" instead of movies. How can I get the system to recognize them as movies and group them accordingly?

(2) Within a certain folder, I could like to be able to automatically "show all" items so I don't constantly have to click to do so. Say I want to always "show all" images within a folder but keep other sections minimized; is there a way to do that? Or to keep all sections maximized at all times?

Thanks

Check what the "open with" default is for each of the file types. maybe if you set the defaults open app the same for all of these the system will then group them.

Thanks. I'll give that a try.
