Hi guys,

Recently I change my another server name, and created another admin user to share the Files and folders and there is a -1 attach to every folder, anyway to get rid of the -1?

Recently, I changed my other server name and created another admin user to share the files and folders. There is a "-1" attached to every folder. Any way to get rid of the "-1"?

What file system are you running on your server? HFS+ Journaled? Case-sensitive? FAT?

What OS is writing the files from the other user?

Could you include a file system listing of one of the directories with the "-1" folders using "ls -als" from the Terminal?

Manage to solve it the layman way, create another folder and drag the item into the new folder, but if I rename the new folder to the name that the old folder has would have the same issue.
