hello, I have multiple email addresses (iCloud gmail yahoo outlook) and I always sign in with all of them on all my Apple devices. I want to make folders to sort my mail but as the emails come from different accounts is there a good way to make the folders and to sort everything? I can create a folder in either iCloud gmail etc... should I create folders for each account or can I just create one in iCloud?

Any help would be welcome!

hi
i don't know the answer to your question. but i have similar questions as you.
in my case i also have multiple accounts and have created common folders (but on my mac, using macOS Apple Mail as the mail client) and incoming and outgoing mail is downloaded from the servers and go into common folders on my mac according to the Rules that i have created.
however, this action of putting the mail into folders on my mac does remove the mail from the inbox on the (imap) server as well making it not available on other devices.
the above can work for gmail and other non-exchange type server email but i dont know if it also can work for exchange email addresses.
thanks

I did something similar with the Mac a few years ago but now I’m trying to find a way to make the folders available on all my devices. I don’t know what would happen if I put emails from say gmail into a folder stored in iCloud mail...
