One of my emails says “you sent this today at 8:50pm” but I don’t see the email in my sent folder. Why?

How do I turn off the follow up feature? Is there a way for it to recommend a follow up but not send the email?

Apparently this annoying feature is an AI feature you can’t do anything about. I now have a sent email in my inbox suggesting I should follow up. I can’t move it back to my sent folder. I can’t get rid of it without either deleting it or archiving it. Totally unwanted feature.

I just turned off the follow up option in Mail preferences on my iPad. It’s still on on my iPhone. Aaaaarghhh!
