After losing all my fonts (don't ask) i'm rebuilding my entire library from scratch and although i've bookmarked various links to cool fonts i've seen in the past i was wondering if anyone had any recommendations as to collections of fonts they can't live with out.
For example there's the obviously ubiquitous Adobe Font Folio but does anyone know of any smaller (cheaper) collections available of solid usable fonts they've come to love? I'm especially interested in usable geometric collections such as:

All recommendations are much appreciated :)

Wait...you're actually willing and even offering to....pay for fonts? I think my expectations of the universe have been defied.

First of all, for some high quality free fonts, I'd recommend exljbris.

Other places you can check:
MyFonts
FontFont
Ascender
Veer

Also, you can check foundries. Sometimes, they'll have families or partial families on sale. Sometimes. You kind of have to get lucky.

Here are a few of the more prolific foundries:
ITC
House
Hoefler & Frere-Jones
Fountain
Font Bureau
Emigre

There are many many many font resources on the web. Be careful - many of the free fonts on the web are kind of crappy (i.e. bad kerning, jagged letters, limited weights). So beware of those.

Finally- Kudos to you for actually being willing to pay for your fonts. That is more rare than it should be (and my hands aren't exactly super clean on that issue, either).

My hands are hardly clean either but I'm not going to be the one paying for these.. I have bought various typefaces in the past but only from small typeface designers who really need people's financial support and there's also a lot of great free fonts out there as well.. what i'm really after are some good collections so thanks for the links.. i think i've found some good font CDs from various foundries.
