Font for a mini-project

Hi graphic-design types!

I'm sorry if this is painfully easy but what typeface is this? I need to use a similar look for a project and if anyway knows any Mac or PC similarities it would save me from making it manually I've tried identifont and whatthefont but neither came close...

Looks like a font named Bauhaus...but of course it's been modified.

The most popular fonts that look like your samples are Ronda (also ITC) and Horatio (there are also alternates in Blippo without the breaks).

In the case of the Brother logo, it is a custom drawn job that's gradually evolved over the years. "blur" could very well have been drawn as well; this kind of lettering is very easy to create without relying on prefabricated type.

There have been countless variations on this theme produced since the 1920s, so don't knock yourself out trying to find an exact match. See here for a very large (but still incomplete) sampling of more of the same, especially in the round sans and curved sections.

I have from your suggestions found one that does the trick for me online, in both Mac and PC format, so thanks!

(If anyone is interested it's for an art project on Feininger and Moholy-Nagy of the Bauhaus movement, and the subsequent closure by the Nazis)
