Hi

I purchased a 2013 iMac in late September of 2013. The machine was running Maverics at 1280 x 720 resolution (vision issues necessitated that) WITHOUT ANY PROBLEM. When I upgraded to Yosemite, I noticed that at the same resolution, fonts and text was/continues to be blurry.

I am reluctatant to purchase a retina iMac, since I have had my current machine for only about a year and I am not sure that I will see a marked improvement in going to the Retina iMac, at that resolution.

Has anyone found solutions to improve the readability on a late 2013 iMac using Yosemite. I am reluctant to downgrade to Maverics as the restoration process can be messy.

Suggestions?

Thanks

We are experiencing a similar issue with our 2012 model iMacs.

Any ideas would be great!

I found a thread that suggested turning of LCD Aliasing and transparency. I have not had a chance to try it though.
