Hi,
Ok I have a DELL 23" S2340M LED MONITOR, and I`ve been trying to smooth out the fonts on the desktop, web browser etc... I have adjusted the display settings already , tried all different variation of setting and no luck. I`m on HDMI to DVI. I searched the forum too and can`t find anything. It`s annoying because I have a crappy monitor at work and the fonts are smooth not jagged.
If anyone have any advice please post it, This is my first mac so I`m learning as I go and everyones been helpful.
thanks in advance.

Use lotion, its helps me make things smoother :p

but seriously, what do you mean when you say the fonts are jagged and not smooth ? this hints at the monitor running at a low resolution, or a non-native resolution as many people have suggested.

lol I even put baby oil on it etc..no luck :D

Anyways I tried all the resolution non-native , native..right not its set on 1920 x 1080 standard.

How big is your monitor at work? Is it hooked up to a Mac or PC? A 23" 1080p monitor is going to have relatively big pixels so it's juts not going to be as "nice" as what you see on an iMac (which is the same resolution but 21.5"). It might help to go to the Apple store and compare what you see on an iMac there from a smoothness perspective.
