Footnotes in iWork?

Pages for iPad -- missing features
The ones I would like most on a new release are:
1. Footnotes
2. Section break creation, or at least recognition
I do a lot of work on the Mac version of Pages. And, overall, I like the iPad one. But the addition of relatively small features like these would go a long way to making it an ideal companion to the Mac version. Right now, you lose footnotes and section breaks when importing a Pages doc from a Mac.
A word count would be helpful, too.
