Of these two, which is the better music service....Pandora One or Rhapsody?

I have been using Pandora One for a couple years. It used to be $36/year, now they are changing it to a monthly and at $3.99/mo. It's ok I guess.

I have an iPhone on T-Mobile (not with the new unlimited plan though) but they have pricing for Rhapsody for my account that would also be $3.99/mo. Is Rhapsody any good or better than Pandora One? Thanks!

Why not just the free version of Pandora? The ads aren't all that intrusive...

Or there's always alternatives like Slacker, Songza, Jango...

spotify.com
rdio.com

those two are the better choices... 5$ for streaming on laptop, 10$ if you want to download the songs into your phone.

rdio offers free station streaming, not sure about spotify

The free version of Pandora has ads and limited skips which is annoying. I'm ok paying up to $4/mo for a decent service. Just considering Rhapsody since with T-Mobile it would cost me $4/mo as well. But is one better than the other? Especially on the iPhone?

Also, we have TiVo boxes in the house which allow for Pandora as long as you pay for the Pandora One level. I believe Rhapsody is on there as well.

What is so great about iTunes Radio? Does it eliminate commercials if you pay the $25/year fee? I tried iTunes Match a year ago and thought it was poor matching my collection. And the streaming used a ton of data vs Pandora (now not an issue since I now have T-Mobile and at the time was on AT&T).

Are you a student or have access to any student email address? Spotify at $5 a month for students is a huge bargain. So many playlists to choose from and the fact you can listen to songs on demand is awesome. If I want a radio station - I can pick it. If i want to listen to a particular song - I can pick it.
