With so many deals going, I'm looking to pick up a new Apple product. I'm looking to consume media, surf the net, maybe do some light typing, and maybe even write with a utensil for notes or sketching. So I'm wondering what's the best yet affordable device to get from Apple, or maybe not from Apple. I'm wondering if the regular iPad 9'7 that's $250 at Target is good or maybe I should look at some older macbooks?
Any thoughts or suggestions will be gladly appreciated!

That 9.7 iPad is a really nice deal. And, yes, it’s Apple Pencil compatible! For typing, you could use the onscreen keyboard, or you’d need to get a third-party Bluetooth keyboard.
