General For a JB, go with beta 2 or beta 3?

So if I want 7.1 with a jailbreak, is beta 2 or 3 better?

I've heard differences in the boot loop with the 5s, battery life being improved in beta 3 maybe, and certain tweaks working in one of these two betas and not the other.

What have you all heard?

I'm running beta 3 JB and its tighter than beta 2, the worst thing about it was installing apps (since i like to set up as new) with the App store glitch

What do you mean tighter? And what glitch is the app store glitch?
 
Can you downgrade back to 7.0.4 from the 7.1 betas? I don't wanna be stuck without a jb if apple blocks the hole in 7.1.

You can as long as Apple is still signing 7.0.4. But if the patch doesn't work, and in the meantime they release 7.0.5 which may patch the JB, you are stuck.

That's why I'm staying on 7.0.4 until we know if the trick works.

Ah gotcha. And odd, is it like that for all apps?

Oh now I see the edit- its just that tab? So you can still search it though and it comes up fine?

I think you should try both out. I imagine b3 would be better but like i stated biolockdown was not working with it. When you change the plist file in ifile it will take about 10-15 minutes to go from b2 to b3, vice versa as long as you have both ipsw downloaded. gl.

What do you mean when I have changed the plist it takes that long to go from one beta to the other? I would have to restore right? Not sure how iFile is involved.

You wont need to restore, just option update. Since the betas expire as you know, you will need to delete the beta expiry and change the plist info. When you do that iTunes assumes you're on 7.0.4 so it makes it easy to go to 7.1b2 or b3. Hopefully I'm making sense but download and try both ipsw. You're not binded to one once you try them out

Oh yeah I know, but I am going to restore just to have a clean install anyways. No reason not to.
 
I'm the minority but I prefer beta2 because the music app can handle an artist with hundreds of songs whereas b3 went into a deep freeze for a while on my 5 and rMini.
