Hello all,

For an upcoming party, I would like to use AirPlay to stream videos/music from my MacBook Pro via iTunes to my Apple TV (3rd Gen).

I've got a really good playlist building, but I'm not sure how well it will work. Is there a way to create a seamless video/music playlist to the Apple TV? From video to video it will buffer for a few seconds, and if possible I'd really like to avoid that sort of lag.

Any ideas are much appreciated.

The lag is a product of your wifi speed and the resolution of the video that you're streaming. The quickest that you could ever make video changing is to have the :apple:TV ethernet wired to the router, and also have your MacBook wired to that same router. This would take wifi speed out of the equation. Remember, the :apple:TV will only play a video once the buffer is sufficient.
