Other For casual user, will xr camera be comparable to 8+?

Do you feel like the single camera system of the xr will produce lower quality portrait mode photos than the 8+? Apple spent a lot of time at the keynote showing off the xr camera which leads me to believe it should be about the same?

wait for the phone to be released. it's hard to tell; it has a better engine, but only has 1 lens

I think you'll be fine personally. Should be good for anyone coming from an 8 or prior.
