Ta. It's called Ruby Fade. It's a 2003 Pearl Export Select kit, just incase they don't do these colours anymore, I haven't kept in the drum equipment loop for a while...

I'm not sure if they still manufacture the kit with that stain. I have not seen it around. Regardless, it looks awesome.

After some digging, I found out the finish is still available under the 'VBX Vision Birch' line.

I was stunned to find out the Export lines had been discontinued. Looks like I'm almost two years out of the times though, apparently it was discontinued in January 2008... *Sniffle*

This thread just reminded me that I need to get a new kit. It would've cost too much to ship it back home from Spain so I've left it over there with a friend.

Here's my kit from a recording session back in January of this year:

Pacific CX Maple kit with Zildjian K/K Custom cymbals and DW flat base hardware (love that stuff for transport).

All of the microphones (Shure, Audio Technica, Schoeps, Blue) are also mine as I work as a producer/engineer and usually convince my clients to let me play drums on their records

Sometimes the feel of moving from a rack tom to a rack mounted floor tom feels more consistent. I used to have my 14" tom mounted on an L-rod mount on a cymbal stand, but I prefer the more solid feel of a floor tom with legs. So I converted my 14" rack tom to a floor using a floating floor tom system.

My "Rock n' Roll room" doubles as a toy room now-a-days. So goes it with parenthood sometimes.

Tama Starclassic - 22, 10, 12, 14, (16 not shown), and a 13 maple piccolo.

I'm a drummer, but my kit currently isn't set up, and most of my cymbals are cracked. I have a Mapex M Birch in blue to black fade. Need about $1500 to fix it up all nice (including cymbals) to start playing again.
