What kind of routing profile did you find to be the best for navigation? There's so many custom settings that I could drive around forever trying to figure out what works best. I was curious to how others had theirs set up.

Can't wait for 1.5 BTW. I always did like to tweet from the road. :D

I'd hesitate to call myself an 'expert' user, but I have been using Navigon for some months now and am very pleased with it. I simply use the 'Optimum' route but to be honest, it doesn't greatly fuss me whether it can work out every last option for every journey and always get the 'optimum' route, whatever that is. For me it's simply a device to provide directions to somewhere that I'm unfamiliar with, say a down town hotel in an unfamiliar city late in the evening, and if it misses the odd short cut, so what? It never fails to get me where I want to go and that's why I bought it.

I'm very excited for the new update that brings MyRoutes

Methinks you need to get out more:)

Why do you say that? I use navigon daily in areas I don't know. Anything that improves routing or the app I get excited about.

If anything I need to get out less! That way i wouldn't need navigon at all!

I guess it's to each their own here. I personally can't wait for MyRoutes either. The one advantage TomTom has had it seems was with their IQ routing. If MyRoutes can compare favorably, I may never use a standalone GPS again. :D

Is there a way to edit the routes is suggests? Tried to enter a trip from Cincinnati, OH to Bloomington, IN the other day, and no matter what route profile I tried, it gave a completely wrong route.

The route they suggested estimated that it would take over 4 hours takes a state highway almost the entire way. The route I have taken in the past (and the one the Maps app gives you) puts you there in about 2 and 1/2 taking the interstate for half the route before taking the state routes.

No.

Which is part of the reason that MyRoutes looks so nice.

Instead of editing the routes, have you tried changing the profile? Like if you're currently using fastest, try changing to optimal and see if that makes a difference, and vice versa.
