Hey,
So, if i open a lot of tabs in Safari, sometimes packed with images and video (i.e. youtube & tumblr tabs), is this going to stress the 4GB 1600mhz?

Do I need to consider the 8GB or 16GB, especially since they're not that expensive.. But If I don't need them, why waste the extra cash..

any thoughts?
thnx

Probably plenty, but the least expensive solution is not to keep all those tabs open.

Aha..
Ok, for 1080p movies and music playback and web browsing, normal day to day Mac usage.. Is 4GB & the normal HDD good enough, or do I need to upgrade the RAM?
Is the SSD going to seriously speed up any of those tasks?

It's probably good enough, but I'd spring for at least 8GB just in case.
And no, SSD won't help the tasks you mentioned. Video will load slightly faster, but if you watch a half hour film, do you care it took 2 secs to load as opposed to half a sec? Same goes for music, it plays the same speed no matter what it's stored on. Web browsing goes no faster/slower. What will be faster with an SSD is your system in general. You will boot faster, apps will open faster, moving/opening files will be faster. But again, that's a good chunk of money to spend getting your music playback to start a few seconds earlier.
