Ok, if you read my sig at all, you would know that I am going to buy a macbook after leopard comes out, and I was wondering...
Should I keep the 1gb ram, or upgrade it to 2 (I would upgrade it on my own(cheaper))
all I will be doing, is playing a few games, photo and movie editing, making some web-pages, and running photoshop... so idk if I would need the extra 1gb ram, or if 1gb alone is enough...

RAM really depends on how much programs you have running on it. 1GB is usually sufficient enough to run 2-4 programs at once. But for movie editing you programs or photoshop, more RAM is always better.

With 1GB of RAM if you were using photoshop or some movie editor, it would be best to not have any other programs up, or else your computer may begin to feel sluggish. With 2GB you can have a few open without a need to worry about completely closing program.

I personally have 2GB system and its nice because you can have multiple windows open from multiple programs without your system beach balling.

I reckon if you want to run Leopard smoothly you'd want the extra gig.

MS is nitrous for inefficient OS's, but I think Leopard might be RAM hungry too with all these features and transitions.

It'll work, just depends how well you want it to work.

just checked your sig, and how you are waiting for a current revision with Leopard.

You should wait (if you can) for the next revision which should come with 3 months maximum of Leopard (more likely 2).
