I know that official Apple people visit here, and I hope that youse see this.

I hope that you people are watching the news and seeing how many people are using AirPods these days.

Three lessons:
a) Lots of people are using them for talking, so you should further invest in them FOR PRODUCTIVITY and NOT JUST RECREATIONAL PLAY
b) People are using the comfortable, ORIGINAL design about 9:1 compared to the uncomfortable and awkward (though much better battery life and BT connectivity)
c) You should focus on improving the OUTGOING VOICE QUALITY because real PROFESSIONALS use them for talking.

The real AirPods Professional will be a tool, not an iPod musical toy.

AirPods are already basically the best outgoing voice quality of any wireless earbud. People are using the original design over the AirPods Pro because they're more expensive.

Also, submit feature requests directly to Apple:https://www.apple.com/feedback/

The outgoing voice on both models could definitely be better. The politicians and influential people on the news that are wearing them are sufficiently set that they are going to pick comfort over price.

Thanks for the feedback link. that's useful.

Just how did you come to that conclusion?

Always a great start when you call a device that millions use every day a “toy”.

Apart from that the 9:1 ratio seems made up, it’s debatable wether the right Apple people read this in the first place and audio quality is good enough in my experience. Battery life is another matter, improvement there would be great.

I've used my AirPods 1, 2, and now Pros to make HOUR long business calls. Are you under the impression that call quality audio suffers when using these things?

I've asked my wife and I sound the same using these vs my iPhone directly. That means, to me, it's using the VOLTE? high quality audio codec that it should be. Talking to people without VLTE is very noticeable and yes, older bluetooth headsets do have a noticeable audio quality loss.
