Could I ask what you run to need that kind of ram? Not being sarcastic, just wondering. I have 32gb in mine and consider myself a power-user, but I have never come close to topping out. I lose track of all the apps running before I reach that limit.

Any 3D pro Apps will easily ran out of memory. Thats why Mac Pro can go all the way to 1.5TB of Ram.

32GB is bare minimum these days that you can just do basic stuff.

I just looked at my Verizon account after loading the old data and SIM card onto the new SE.

I didn't call them. The new phone (with the same number as the old one) is shown on the account along with the payment details. The old phone isn't shown; I did erase the old phone and reset it to "new" status.

What do you do with the old phone? At most it seems to be worth about $20. It's still like new...

Stick with matching pairs. If you get the 16x2 kit you can have 32 total or use them in addition to the 4x2 that comes with the system and have a total of 40GB.
