For those following my g3 vs g4 thread...

I won a g4 iBook last night on ebay. It's a 1 ghz processor with 768 mb of ram. It has airport and a combo drive. The battery is pretty much a dud, but we have a spare so all is well.

I paid $450. I am VERY pleased. I hope it'll be as described, but the guy did offer money back if anything was wrong.

YAY!!

PS - I may still snag a cheap g3 for my son. He's the only one stuck with a windows computer right now, and he really wants his own Mac...

Congratulation. I am assuming it is the 12in model? I have a 1.2 iBook 12in it is a great machine but I wish I would have saved for the 12in powerbook.

Yes, it is a 12". We already have one and really like it. We also have a MacBook and an eMac. Now I just need to get a hold of one more iBook and an iMac and I'll be happy!!
