Right.Well yes of course. If you put oils in your hair, what you expect?
Who is throwing insults or are you expecting them to be thrown at you? Of course the smooth white vinyl looking material of the Bose is going to be more dirt and oil resistant than a mesh material.I own a pair of -All White- BOSE NC700.
I purposefully bought this color because I liked how “clean” and outstanding they looked.
It’s been a year now and not even a single spot of sweating spots, stains &/or grime.
The materials used on the cups and headband have been equal to the task in maintaining appearance.
I use them almost daily even as I do chores at home.
I thought I could bring this perspective to the debate above.
Please do not throw insults should you think otherwise. It’s meant to be a technical conversation around headphone materials capability of withstanding dirt.

I've heard that from a few reviews comparing them to the Bose headphones. I thought about the color being a problem before I bought them but I'm not taking mine to work or anyplace dirty. I feel awkward wearing over the ear headphones when I'm out and about. I bought them for relaxing music at home and when they're not on my head they'll be in the leather case I ordered.... and less comfortable.
