I had mentioned it before, but as soon as I got my MBP (its a Samsung monitor) I downloaded a Color Profile that MacInTouch posted after they calibrated a 2.2 LED model, and a couple of you asked for the link. I emailed MacInTouch and they were nice enough to provide me with a link. I believe this will improve, if not fix your screen issues, depending I suppose.

Hope it helps, I certainly love my screen with this profile.

I wanted to try this out, but it isn't working for me. I put it in the displays folder and it doesn't show as an option when I view my list of profiles. I don't have it limited to profiles for this display only.

Oh well, thanks for posting. I'll beat it into submission in the morning!

Place the file inside...macintosh hd >> library >> colorsync >> profiles

this profile is fantastic. I have the samsung, I thought i had the yellowness, but I don't. I think it was a mental thing... but this profile makes everything look even better. thanks!

Bear in mind that a profile optimized for someone else's laptop screen might not be the best for you.

Personal calibration is the best.

I believe that profile will only show up if you have the samsung screen (9c68).

Looks good on mine.

Does anyone else notice the screen has a very green tint if you look at it from say a 45" angle??? My old MacBook isn't like it.

I hate the calibration tool. I tried it myself several times and things ended up too pink or too purple or too something. Several people have posted profiles and I found one that works great.

That may explain my issue. I have tried several other profiles posted in other threads and they work fine. I have an LG screen.
