For those of you lucky people in the US that haven't already excitedly ripped open the boxes their iPad's were shipped in - would it be possible to get the dimensions and the shipped weight? I'm sure it would help those wanting to get it shipped via something like Bundlebox (me included!)

Thanks in advance!

Oli

Bundle box just billed me £126.00 for shipping and vat.

They will measure and weigh box and work out shipping depending on service you require.

Just for the record, what SICK person would throw a box from an Apple Product away?!?!

I agree! I was meaning the box that UPS would have shipped it in!

I've lost track of the number of Apple boxes I have lying around for all my kit!!

2 Years ago i found a new iPhone box in the middle of a parking lot where i used to work lol, yes it was empty.

I'm not bothering to take it out of the case, but I just bought a new kitchen scale, so:

Total: 1510 grams (shipping label says 1.5kg)
iPad in case: 860 grams

The difference is the box with charger and cord, plus the box it shipped in.

Product box is 255x204x54mm. Shipped in 290x246x102mm.
