Went to the Apple store yesterday to check out the colors. I've always liked the clean look of the Silver but the DP was tempting me. After checking them out, I went with my clean Silver. The deep purple was indeed pretty deep. All I could see was a gray really with some slight hint of purple. It was just too dark for me coming from always getting silver. It was beautiful though, just not for me. Enjoy it!
