I've considered grabbing one for it's bluetooth connectivity (for my headset) and compact size so I don't have to take my Moto X when I go out for a walk (or run should I start doing that). I have a GPS watch for tracking my exercise.

Scratch that, I'm considering the Nano..

I have a Samsung galaxy S5 and an ipod touch 5th generation. I like to keep a touch because it gives me access to an iOS device on the go. I use it for music, apps, games, email, imessage etc. I know I can do all of that on my galaxy S5 but why not have both lol

When I'm out I usually tether my phone to it so I have Internet. I can even make calls and send texts from it of I want to but usually don't.

I also take it when I go for a run or power walk as it's small and compact.

I use my iPod touch for music and podcasts while I do yard work so I don't sweat all over my phone. Also it comes it handy when I don't want to use my phone battery to play a game or listen to music.

I do that too. I still have my first gen iPod touch that i use. Still works good but its slow and i cant get any updated apps on it any longer....which is unlike Android in that regard.

However, though i do use the iPod still, i prefer to use this instead a lot of times. Much smaller and lighter and works very well for just MP3's or radio. Id guess that is 8 years old.

I have a note 3 and iPod touch along with an ipad. Pretty much I had the iPod right when it came out, long before the phone or ipad. Simply put, I wanted a music player that could browse the web while listening to music.

With the price of the Touch being what it is and you would do the same things anyways with a Moto G or Nokia 635 and those costing much less and you do not need lots of space, ...

Once I get my OnePlus one, either when it released to the public, or if I win one of the invites in the contest, my fifth gen touch is going to be used for games and podcasts. The podcasts are not a necessity, so it'll go on my ipod. My phone would be the 64gb version, so you may say that I don't need the ipod. But to be honest, pulling the large OnePlus one at school is going to make people look at me, I'd prefer the ipod for its compact size tethered to my OnePlus One.

How about you guys?

Yes the ipod touch is smaller so more convenient in some circumstances. However I think it was more convenient when I was using my note 3, which was unwieldy. My S5 is much more compact. Anyhow still think that the touch is a great device.

About to sell my 5th Gen touch as itunes corrupted my playlist and almost half the songs on the device could not be played. Gonna replace it with a Lumia 630 as i just like having a dedicated MP3 Player for listening to music when travelling and at the gym.

I only bought the 5th gen as i loved the 2nd gen (coincidentally the same reason why i bought the iPad Air with the same end result) and looking back on it, i do have huge buyers remorse as the device is way too expensive for my usage. i'm a llitle sad as other than my 2nd gen, it is the only current iOS device i own. End of an era for me.

I used to have an Android phone, and an iPod Touch, because I was on a family plan and couldn't get an iPhone at the time, so I got an Android. And I got the iPod Touch because I wanted the games, apps, and it had a higher quality camera than my Android phone. So I carried both devices in my pocket.

I converted over to Android (HTC One X) from iPhone 4 and immediately found music, contacts and email to be lacking on the Android platform. Picked up an ipod touch 5th gen to keep all my contacts and music. When the iPhone 6 comes out, I am going to convert back to iPhone from my GN3, but am going to buy an 8.4 Samsung Tablet. There are still a lot of things I like on the Android system, especially the work things I am able to do.

I also just purchased a 635, put a 64gb card I already had in it. I have a Xbox music pass so I am loading up the card. Between Xbox music and the now free Spotify on WP I'm happy. I use runtastic pro app, now it has a live clear tile. I agree WP just might have me, unbelievable!!
