Hello,
I had to send my phone in to Applecare for a few different issues. They over nighted a loaner phone to me to use in the meantime. I asked the man due to the phone having a number of issues, are they going to repair or send out a different one. He stated that he was not sure that it varied, etc... He then mentioned that he saw that I purchased Apple care. I jokingly said, see, you should just send me a new one. He then said he put in the request for a replacement, but we would still have to go through the official 'loaner' process, etc.
Anyway, I am just curious to know if anyone has actually had theirs repaired, or is Apple just sending out new ones and keeping the old to inspect/test?
BTW, the loaner phone says Applecare Service on the back above the iPhone etching...
