I was talking to my friend Danny this morning, and he had a heck of a time getting his phone activated over the weekend. According to him, he had to spend a couple hours on the phone with ATT getting things worked out. Not a credit problem, just caught in the backlog I guess.
Anyway, he went to his local ATT store, and talked about it with the manager. He expressed his displeasure with the activation process, and how he had to spend so much of his own time doing what ATT was supposed to do automatically- and quickly.
In any case, he got his activation fee credited back to his account.
Just thought I'd pass this along. I do not know if it will work for everyone, but it is worth a shot to get paid back for some of your frustration and lack of use time.
