We have all had services at one time or another. If you did not know you can call ATT and open a service ticket for your area. Some times you need to call a few times over the course of a few weeks.

About a two years ago i was having service issues around my house. According to ATT agents and the online map i should have had the best 3g service. Over the course of a month I opened something like 4 service tickets with the network support people. turns out that my house and an area roughly 50 feet in front and behind of it was in a void. I was told that this was not known to ATT as everything on there end showed great service. After roughly 1 month an ATT network tech called me to see if the issue was fixed, it was. Turns out the towers around me just needed minor adjustments to something (he never went into detail what was adjusted).

i have had great service after that. I went from nothing but dropped calls and issue after issue to always having full bars. I no longer have to walk around looking for good service.

My point is on top of looking at your hardware make sure you call ATT and open a service ticket. If you can get people around you to do the same them in moves your issue up on the waiting list.
