no 4GB ram standard.

and btw i'm a very light user i don't expect i7 on Macbook Air but but let's face it this update is a big let down.

Then don't buy it! Go buy at 13" mbp or go and buy a thinkpad x301. Also if your such a light user then what would you need 4gb of ram standard for since you wouldn't be heavily multi tasking. If you don't want to go cheap then max it out.

i'm so disappointed because i consider myself one of the target audience for the Air...i'm not your typical MBP enthusiast who complains about how weak the Air is compared to the MBP, i have defended the Air ever since it was released...but let's just face it,Apple got it wrong this time..

I think we are long over due for a global crisis to put things into perspective! It is what it is, if you don't like it, don't buy it.

I myself am quite happy I have the opportunity and finances to make a decision whether to buy one of these little macbook airs or not.

Many folks out there in the world right now are wondering how they will feed their kids tonight or if they will have their home foreclosed on. Yet here we sit in a collective bitch and moan fest about hardware specs. It is just a computer, take it for what it is and go out and enjoy the world around you.

Right now there is really nothing you can do about 16:9 displays as that is becoming more and more the standard in the market. When the market moved from 4:3 displays to 16:10 displays you say the same exact complaints. Some people are never going to be happy. I went from a first gen MBP(which I think might be 16:10) to a 11in Vaio TT and I had no problems at all with the 16:9 resolution, it does everything I ask for, and viewing webpages for me isn't a problem at all.

Get a USB infra-red receiver adapter. Google "Mira" from Twisted Melon
